Compete in Hold’em on the Internet Online Poker Gaming
Jan 182018

Gus Hansen had a wonderful year on the WPT where he was the only gambler to achieve closing poker table in 3 of the competitions. Gus Hansen has been seen on High Stakes Poker on GSN where he paid $400, 000 to play. You might recall one of the largest pots in big stakes poker history up against Daniel Negreanu. Hansen won a massive pot with quads against Daniel’s full house. Hansen has made many tv poker appearances and is deemed to be one of the strongest bettors in the world. While participating in internet poker, another side of Hansen has emerged. Gus frequently competes in the 200/400 No Limit max buy-in of $40, 000. Gus generally buys-in for the minimum of Sixteen Thousand dollars and gambles very weak. He waits for a decent hand and then goes all in. I believe Gus is an outstanding poker player but not even close to the regular players at 200/400no limit. Unless he is broke, he has little or no reason to settle at the table with the minimum buy-in.

Playing for the min takes a majority of the ability out of deep stack poker. Hansen is supposed to be one of the best poker players in the world but he can’t buy in for the total dollar value. I believe tv can skew our view of the real world every now and then. The best poker players in the world could be players you have will not have heard of. Gus can be found competing in online poker on Full Tilt. He usually plays in big stakes omaha hi-low and hold’em. Gus Hansen has shown himself as a tournament player. Can he back up his talents in cash rounds?
