Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers are given 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet is the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with a figure in accordance with the initial wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays money equal to your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
