Web poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different players acquire 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes directly to the house. After the wager is the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with an amount equal to the original bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays cash even with your initial bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
