Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in an awesome game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the dealer, not like most other poker games that players play with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about any other, more experienced people taking their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, rookies should be able to take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied selections.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with basically a small amount of money since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards face up and the croupier gets seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
