Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the house, not like most other poker games that players wager against other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable people winning their cash.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty choices.
It’s also easier to play for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the casino gets seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
