Internet poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer saying "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning bet, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus an amount on par with the original bet. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pony’s up chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
